Official reference: PC post moves · Controller post moves

If the move comes out differently.

  1. Check hold versus tap. The shot button also produces a pump fake. A second tap can change a gather into another action.
  2. Check your starting state. Stationary, sprinting, post stance and triple threat are different contexts. The same key can perform different actions.
  3. Check the ball hand. For example, Z is the documented PC crossover from right to left, but a hesitation with the ball already in the left hand.
  4. Check the input device. The official controller list includes use on console, PC and mobile with a controller. It does not establish a separate touchscreen layout.

A command alone does not prove your build meets a move’s attribute requirements. This reference does not certify dunk thresholds, animation unlocks or a particular camera setting.

Where these bindings come from.

These selected inputs were read directly from Community Manager irvdan’s posts in the developer’s controls channel on October 31, 2026. The core PC and controller posts show edits dated December 24, 2025; the post-move references show October 14, 2025. This is the developer’s documented reference, not a claim that every move has been independently retested in the public Alpha.

Some advanced source lines contain conflicting direction labels. Those entries are left out of this quick reference. Open the complete official controls channel if you need an action not listed here. Discord may require sign-in and server access.
